Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Sessions are 50-minutes and are $100. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. At this time I am not in-network for any insurance companies. I can provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.
How did you get started in this business?
Shortly after earning my degree from the University of Florida, I began working with the Department of Children and Families. While there I learned a lot about family systems and became passionate about empowering individuals affected by trauma with the strategies to find healing. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University where I received my Master's degree in Counseling and I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the past 10 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in working with adults and teenagers who are struggling with stress, poor self concept, anxiety, depression, past or current abuse, or relationship challenges. I am passionate about my work not only because I see the results that my approach has with my clients, but because I too have personally experienced the level of hurt that many of my clients have shared with me over the years. I know first hand what generational cycles can do to you and the power that effective therapy can have in rediscovering yourself.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is really difficult to choose a therapist based on the short bios on websites. I encourage you to narrow down your search and then call and request phone consultations to help you find a good fit.
