What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial appointment is a free consultation to see if we are a match for what I can provide vs. what the client needs are. We then discuss what services will be provided and what the cost for those services will be. We then workout a plan to coordinate the exchange of information needed to achieve the goal with minimal travel time for each of us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25+ years experience as a CPA in the state of Florida, working with all types of clients

Prices are based on the amount of time needed to complete the task and the complexity of the task i.e. different rates for bookkeeping vs. tax preparation or payroll services.
How did you get started in this business?
Have a bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting and worked internships during college in banking and a large CPA firm and decided to go into Accounting.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Small business owners and retirees are my primary customer base, but I have worked with all types of individuals and business from different industries and different economic levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Spend as much of my free time as possible outside with my family. Love any water related activity and hiking the great outdoors.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Most important thing to do is find someone you can trust and feel comfortable working with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What service does the customer want and is the pro able and willing to provide it. I have some businesses that do their own bookkeeping and payroll and I just prepare the tax return, while others hire me to do everything.
