At Serenity we believe in taking an inclusive approach to therapy, while considering an individual's health, sleep patterns, relationship dynamics, thought processes, spirituality/religion, past traumas, prior or new diagnoses, etc. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Techniques and Solution Focused Therapy; along with other tools and techniques that may move an individual closer to their destination.Life is too short to not find your joy and contentment.
The goal in therapy is to insure that my clients feel free to discuss difficult circumstances in a non-judgmental and safe environment. In the first session, we will discuss your goals and use them as a measure of progress and to make sure that we are actively working. Goals, for example, range from being able to talk through and reprocess an event to learning better coping skills to effectively deal with a stressful situation or relationship. The key to your happiness is within. We will work together to find it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Serenity's mission through counseling and therapy is to guide individuals to their inner peace in a non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment. At Serenity we believe that with support, it is the client who discerns their own goals and aspires to reach them. It is the counselor's position to suggest different pathways that are available for the client to meet the goal; and with encouragement and support bring these goals to fruition.
