Dr. Justin Cough is a practicing chiropractor and founder of Oviedo Chiropractic. As a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL, Dr. Cough is dedicated to serving the community through the education and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Cough takes pride in utilizing the most beneficial, evidence-based treatment strategies, tailored for each patient treated at Oviedo Chiropractic.
Dr. Cough was born and raised in a suburb of Syracuse, NY and received a BS of Education at the State University of New York at Oswego. After graduation he served the community teaching in both the middle school and high school levels. Throughout that time Dr. Cough also coached various sports including: Varsity and Junior Varsity Lacrosse, middle school football, basketball, track, & soccer. After five years of teaching Dr. Cough decided to change careers and join the wonderful field of chiropractic.
Dr. Cough focuses on the body’s natural healing mechanisms by working with the spine, extremities, biomechanics, mental, and nervous systems. With Dr. Cough’s background in teaching, he enjoys educating his patients about their condition, treatment, and wellness options to make the patient enjoy the upmost sustainability in their life.
Dr. Cough is an active member of many national and local organizations, which through continuing education, he learns about current and effective treatment options for athletes, accidents, disc herniation, headaches, radiculopathy, and simple musculoskeletal pain.
Dr. Cough enjoys all the Central Florida area has to offer, including the sporting events, beaches, golfing, and all the other ideal outdoor activities.
We take pride in the attention to detail that is spent with each patient. We educate the patient on what specifically is causing the issue and how we are going to fix it. Patients find that their experience in our office is very informative and the treatments are highly effective to get the patient better faster.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?
Each patient is examined by the Doctor and findings are given on the initial visit. Each patient is explained the findings in a way that they fully understand and a treatment plan is set up. The treatment recommendations are based on case study evidence and the patient is monitored on daily basis to help identify how they are responding.

How did you get started?
As a former teacher of 5 years I have always had an interest in helping people. I started in chiropractic school and after an extra 8 years of schooling and clinical work, I have felt honored to work with the patients of the community.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything. Our youngest patient is less than 2 weeks and our oldest patient is in her 90's. We work with auto related injuries, workers compensation, wellness care, sciatica, headaches, old/new injuries.
