Sanchez Counseling, LLC
About
I recognize it may have taken a lot of courage to get to this point to reach out for counseling. I am glad you are here.
I believe we are often deeply wounded in the context of relationships so it is in the context of relationships that we are most deeply healed. While relational wounds cause us to engage others and ourselves in unhealthy ways, there is also incredible power for healing and change through corrective connection. I take a relational approach to therapy and place a strong emphasis on safety and trust in the counseling relationship.
I believe self-awareness is pivotal in one’s growth. I delight in working with women in gaining self-awareness through exploring their story, past and present, and growing in their ability to use their voice where they feel stuck. Through exploring my own personal story in counseling and growing in self-awareness have all been some of the most impactful things I have done. It has opened a door to a life of more freedom and I want to extend that same invitation to you. My hope is for clients to feel understood and empowered as they journey down the road of self-discovery, healing, and growth.
I enjoy working with young adults women. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, women’s struggles, trauma, abuse, family-of-origin issues, communication challenges, spirituality, grief, and life transitions.
I enjoy this work because it is an honor to sit with people and walk with people in difficult seasons of life and help them walk towards wholeness, healing, and health!
