I let clients know how much the return will cost and their approximate refund before I start. If anytime the client decides not to do business with me they can get all their paperwork back with no charge what-so-ever.
I specialize in small businesses and amendments. I was trainned by H&R Block, worked as teacher and office manager for Jackson Hewitt for ten years and worked as teacher and tax preparer for Liberty Tax for seven years.
I started my own business in 1995 and had the non-comp ete clause waived by JH and Liberty as well.
I tell my clients "the only thing I like better than fighting with the IRS, is winning that fight". My job is to get the client every dime they are legally entitled to from the IRS and whichever state they live or work in. I particularly enjoy getting my clients money they didn't know they were owed from the IRS. This happens often when I amend their returns that someone else prepared over the past three years. I tell my students that once you find a client unexpected money, you become their preparer for life.

BASIC 72 HOUR CLASS TAUGHT BY H&R BLOCK
Teaching this same class for 15 years that gave me trainning on new tax laws that changed from year to year.
Online courses between 2000 and 2016 to update knowledge as well as familiarize myself with new or updated IRS forms.
Graduated from Del Tech and Comm College with Business Data Processing degree in 1977.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $150 for the 1st form and $50 for each form after that. Example: federal return with one state, without credits for children or education and without itemized deductions or self-employment would usually cost $200. Most returns run between $200 and $400.
All amendments are $150 and are only recommended when the client would get a refund of at least $300. Most amendment refunds are over $1000. Many have been more than 2, 3 or $4,000. (references available)
