Johnson Consuting Servives offers was started in 2013 to provide a myraid of legal counseling and referral services as well as traveling notary services thoughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Our travel rates being at $15.00 and are no more than $20.00.
In addition, each notary seal is $5.00/seal per DC regulation.
We also offer Power of Attorney and Will development, beginning at $150.00 (flat fee).
All referrals to other non-profit or government agencies are free of charge.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the customer makes contact with me, I ask questions to determne what their specific needs is, e.g., referral, notary services or document development.
For referrals, I ontain their contact information and mail a letter with the appropriate referrals for the client to follow-up.
For traveling notary services, once I know their location and the type and number of documents to be notarized, I provide a quote and schedule a date to notarize the documents. Most notary jobs are scheduled and concluded within 3 business days of the initial request.
If it involves document development, I schedule an initial appointment to discuss the types of documents, legal ramifications, etc. I also obtain pertinent information to be included in the documents. All documents are provided in draft form 7 days after the initial appointment and are finalized within two weeks of the initial appointent.
All payment for notary jobs and document development is due at the time the job is concluded.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. I also have over 10 years of experience as a disability rights advocate working with local non-profits and the DC government.
