About
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland and a Nationally Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE). I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), The Association of Black Psychologists, and The Eastern Sociological Association.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Oakwood University, a Master's of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, Ph.D. Candidacy in the field of Counseling Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Ph.D. in Family Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.
In addition to providing therapy, I am a college professor for the University of Maryland (UMUC) and Argosy University. I teach an upper-level undergraduate parenting course and graduate level counseling psychology courses. Furthermore, I have instructed courses in the field of counseling education and family studies at the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Maryland (UMCP).
