Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client calls or emails us and tells us when they would like us to call them to discuss their needs. There is never a charge to discuss their needs and proposed solutions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a national speaker/presenter/trainer. I am a nationally recognized and published writer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is based on the needs of the client. We offer reasonable rates.
I also make sure clients understand that when it comes to marketing there is only so much we can do with tiny budgets. We provide as much as we can and sometimes to our own detriment, but expectations are dependent on their budgets; meaning you can't advertise or market your business with a budget of $200 mth and expect to obtain results that would require $10,000 mth.
How did you get started in this business?
I was freelancing in 3D computer graphics and advertising while serving in the Navy for 12 yrs as a Medical Public Relations Liaison. After leaving the Navy I couldn't find work so I decided to start my own business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with Law, medical, B2B and B2C clients for 23 yrs. I also have a list of over 30 testimonials from over the years.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently gave a technology presentation/lecture for a legal conference. They noticed an immediate 25% enrollment increase as a direct result of the presentation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If the firm or person your hiring doesn't have at least 10 yrs under their belt don't hire them. Experience comes with time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It depends on the clients needs. As an example there are a lot of SEO companies telling businesses they can get them on the first page of Google and many of them can. But what they don't tell you is that they are using local keywords that no one searches. For example, Remington Agency Virginia seems like its a good keyword phrase but Google stats show its worthless.
