Insight Counseling Of Alexandria
About
I work with you to help you sort out the miriade of stress, anxiety, apathy, or confusion you may experience with work, relationships, or about yourself. My style is collaborative wherein I trust you have the ability to improve, change, or heal in the ways you desire with my support and guidance. I work primarily from an Internal Family Systems perspective and also have a base of attachment theory from Emotionally Focused Therapy that I weave through our work together. Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide an initial phone consultation lasting 10-15 minutes to provide both us a chance to get to know each other a bit before meeting. During this conversation we can field questions/answers and set the first appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed as a LPC by the Board of Health Professions in the Commonwealth of Virginia and hold a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. For me learning never ends and I pursue regular post graduate education through seminars and certificate trainings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I am an Out of Network Provider but have many clients who are able to recieve reimbursement for the services I provide through their insurance company. My fee is $150 per session.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Clients I specialize in include those with feelings of anxiety, depression, and trauma histories. Often clients I work with have felt despairing thoughts of self-doubt, low self esteem, and feel stuck in life.
