My experience in working with individuals , couples and families has been mutually gratifying. Although changes have occurred in the mental health field,including more targeted medications and claims for instant relief, I believe people desire a more qualitative overall improvement in themselves and in their relationships.

My expertise is individual and marital therapy with a focus on anxiety and depression. I also specialize in posttraumatic stress disorder resulting from physical or emotional injury or abuse and I have extensive experience working with adult children of alcholics. Identification and reframing of traumatic events is a goal of psychotherapy.
