After many years in corporate accounting, I have spent the past 8 years helping individuals and small business owners plan and save on taxes. I am a CPA with extensive accounting and finance experience to help you manage your small business.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a complimentary initial consultation to learn about the client and the client's needs and to gain an understanding of the client's goals, objectives, and priorities. We usually start with a brief phone call to see if we are a good fit, and then we schedule a meeting or another phone call, whatever works best for the client.

MBA with a Specialization in Accounting

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Tax Preparation - I use a standard pricing model for the various forms and schedules included in the tax return. I then usually adjust the final invoice depending on the complexity of the return.
Accounting Services - I customize a monthly account solution which best fits the client and charge a flat monthly fee based upon those services. The goal is to provide the service as efficiently as possible to help the client save money.
Payroll - I work with a couple of vendors and I select the vendor which will match the client's needs.
How did you get started in this business?
I spent a great deal of time working in a corporate environment. I reached a point where I wanted a different type of challenge and to really help people and make a differenc.e
What types of customers have you worked with?
My focus is working with small business owners of any kind. I work with sole proprietors, partnerships, and s-corporations. My clients appreciate the tax and accounting guidance I can provide and my ability to be the one stop shop for all their small business needs.

We adopted a puppy, Tucker!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I suggest meeting the professional or having a phone call to get to know each other. Verify the professional's credentials by looking up their license online. Be sure to understand the pricing methodology that the professional uses.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
