About
For Thervo, my services are one-to-one Havening coaching sessions, including for Anger Management. I'm a Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner, which sets me apart from most other practitioners. Havening is an often fast-acting psycho-neuro-sensory technique used for any issue you'd seek a coach or therapist for - and can often clear up problems with a small number of sessions. Havening is a relatively new mind-body healing technique based on neuroscience. It is very unique and EXTREMELY effective and can have LIFE-CHANGING results. It changes the neurochemistry of the brain so that you no longer have negative / destructive reactions to things that have happened to you. Havening is MUCH faster than traditional coaching/counseling techniques, and the results are more permanent. It works with psychological as well as physical illness issues. Find more information on it at www.susaneisner.com/havening.
In my Havening sessions I also include other non-traditional techniques including visualization, insight-producing meditation, future visioning, and more. I also help clients with communication skills, addictions, self-care, personal and work related issues, and much more. And finally, I do a lot of work on SELF-COMPASSION - a nice sounding but very difficult to do concept, and on identifying and dealing effectively with difficult emotions.
I love seeing people make progress in their lives as a result of work I do with them - in this case, my 1:1 coaching method called Havening Techniques.

How did you get started in this business?
I have always been interested in health, biology and psychology. I've worked in health facilities much of my life primarily teaching seminars on these topics mainly to other health professionals to help them take better care of themselves. I then got into recovery for my own addictions and began doing various forms of mind-body based healing coaching techniques. Today a big part of my business continues to be seminars for health professionals. And also one-to-one coaching.
What types of customers have you worked with?
For coaching I've worked with laypersons, medical and mental health professionals, and high level corporate leadership in different companies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my Havening coaching clients had bad anxiety for many years each time she needed to get a particular repetitive medical procedure. Prior to her most recent one, we did ONE Havening session, in which we signficantly reduced that anxiety, and she had it done much more calmly than in the past. She wrote:
“Over the summer, I had the privilege of having Susan Eisner conduct a Havening session with me. The intent was to help me deal with an upcoming medical procedure which I was very anxious about. Susan was very professional and caring. The session was calming and it accomplished what I had hoped for. Whenever I thought about the upcoming procedure, my prior anxiety was significantly lessened.” Donna B.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
See how you feel emotionally when you talk to that person for the first time. And ask yourself if they're listening to you, do they understand what you're saying and what you need, and do you feel comfortable with them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should ask themselves:
What is the issue at hand for which I'm seeking help? Do I think it's an issue? Am I seeking help because I want to, or is someone mandating me to do so? Do I want help for this? Whether I think I have an issue or not, if someone else thinks I do and it's impacting my relationship with them, what would be the outcome if I don't get help, and what would be the benefits if I do? And what can I learn about myself that would make beginning to work with a professional beneficial to me, even if I don't think I have a problem?
