I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and am trained in EMDR, a therapy that is highly effective in helping clients deal with trauma. I also work with people struggling with addiction as I am also a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I see clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship struggles.
I enjoy helping others develop the tools they need to be happy and successful in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first speak with a customer on the phone to determine what their needs are and if I could be a good fit for those needs. Then we will meet in person so that the customer could see if he/she felt comfortable with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Master's in Professional Counseling. In addition, I have had additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I accept some insurance at this time. I also work with the customer to determine a hourly rate that would work for self-pay.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a high school teacher for several years prior to going into the counseling field. I changed careers because I want to be able to help others as I have been helped by receiving my own counseling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers with addictions, trauma, anxiety, depression, every day life stresses, and stress from life changing events.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise that you find someone you feel comfortable with. I believe that counseling is all about the relationship. In addition, you need to see someone who is qualified to help you with your need.
