How did you get started in this business?
I was 11 years old when I began observing pain patterns in people. It was always exciting to me to get another opportunity to massage a new person. Experience working with herbs, vitamins and various methods of detoxification. Back bone in Structural Integrative Therapy. Extended certification in Lymphatic Drainge. Passion for observing blockages with energy and areas of chronice tension; and clearing them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients ranging in ages from 3years old to 90. Amputees, Auto-Immune Diseases, desk workers, athletes, clients recovering from injuries and surgery. My ideal client is someone that has a desire to heal. I appreciate connecting on a level in which my client feels heard and understood.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always fond of when I sink my elbow deeply and gently into an area thick with stagnant fluid, inflammation and water retention and watch as it disipates and moves through the body preparing to be illiminated. The feeling my clients get when they leave is that of floating and more so in alignment. I once had a client that avoided a second surgery because I was able to move the airpocket out of her abdomen post surgical operation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
always ask your therapist what their intentions are as far as solving your areas of concern. It will give you a sense that they are listening, involved and educated.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
always consider what your pains are and how they are affecting you. think about what you are doing in your life that is inhibiting your healing process.
