What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we first sit down, my goal is to get to know you and your family to begin to understand:
-who you are
-what goals you've set (personally, professionally, financially)
-what insurance and investment planning you've done
-how are you compensated (and any employee benefits)
-intentions with college funding
-what tax strategies are being used
-fears or uncertainty around money
-retirement and legacy goals
Based on that conversation, my team will run some analysis and build a financial plan to address your goals. We'll share that personalized plan with you at our follow up meeting and help you implement the planning recommendations in the order of highest importance.

My name is Jeremy Sarby and I run a fiduciary financial planning practice and manage a team of four based out of Lakewood. We operate a fee-based planning practice which means that we do not charge an up front fee/retainer to engage with new clients. My team is compensated on the back-end by the company you choose to do business with when we help you implement any insurance or investment strategies. I'm happy to spend more time on this topic when we meet as I want to be overly transparent around fees and compensation with my clients.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a client before becoming an advisor. I was the typical "do it yourself" guy and thought I had a good handle on my finances. After opening up to a conversation, I was amazed at the opportunities and strategies I wasn't exposed to during my time at the University of Wisconsin.
I am also deeply motivated to leave a positive impact in the lives of others and I've realized that financial planning may be the most impactful way to live out this mission. My goal is to "Create confidence through comprehensive planning" by ultimately
