About

I am an ACBSP Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, having completed 100 hours of specialized training in the field of sports medicine in addition to my Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Sports Chiropractors use comprehensive movement screens to assess patients’ movements, and based upon these findings determine patients’ unique risk factors for potential injury development.

Sports Chiropractors combine manual therapy, corrective exercise and strength training to not only treat current injuries but to prevent future injuries to keep athletes performing at their optimum level. The goals of treatment are to change a patient's biomechanics to make them a more efficient athlete who is less susceptible to injury.

My passion is helping others create the healthiest version of themselves. Whether through safe and noninvasive chiropractic care, or through consistent personal training I believe that everyone should be able to reach their goals without pain or barriers. It is important for me to educate and motivate my patients to be active in their own treatment. Patients are often given home care exercises to promote more permanent changes. You won't be given false promises, lengthy treatment plans, or a one size fits all treatment, everything prescribed is individualized and custom to your personal goals!

    Frequently asked questions

Chiropractic care varies a lot by provider so we want you to feel comfortable as soon as you step foot in the office. A first visit will start with a lengthy health history, followed by an exam where I will be checking your range of motion, muscle strength, reflexes, and doing some quick orthopedic tests on whatever it was that brought you in. After the exam we will know more about what type of injury you are dealing with and we can begin treatment accordingly. Feel free to contact me with any other questions that may arise prior to your first visit!

I moved to Colorado shortly after completing my doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL where I graduated with high honors. Prior to becoming a chiropractor I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition from Iowa State University. My lifelong interest in sports and fitness led me to pursue a career dedicated to providing an active approach to health. I believe that healthcare needs to be specific to the individual, and that treatment should always be customized to the patient’s needs. My passion is to help you feel better and give you the education to take care of your body- all while helping you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

I have completed extra coursework in the field of sports medicine and am a Certified Sports Chiropractic Physician through the ACBSP. I have post-graduate training in other various physical medicine techniques including: McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis (MDT), functional taping, and Motion Palpation. In addition to providing chiropractic care, I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who helps to transition patients from an injury back into doing what they love.
