About
Life can be a wonderful adventure that sometimes has twists, turns, and bumps that we do not see coming or do not know how to navigate on our own. These obstacles sometimes leave us feeling lost or stuck. We all sometimes need someone to come alongside us on our life journey to help navigate these challenges without judgement. I will be that person to come alongside you and listen to your story. You are here because you have reached a point where you are ready to make the changes needed to walk your path with less apprehension, stress, and worry. We will work together so that you can walk your path with confidence.
With two years of experience as a Rehabilitation Counselor I specialize in helping people work through life transitions, changes, and stressors. I will meet you wherever you are on your journey and we will focus together on the changes you are ready to make. Through working together, you will gain lasting strategies to navigate the obstacles in your life.
I believe everyone should have access to counseling where they feel most comfortable and safe. To eliminate some of the barriers to seeking counseling services I provide virtual counseling services on evenings and weekends through a secure platform. If you would like to talk please feel free to text, call, or email me for a free 15-minute consultation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you would like to work together towards achieving your goals please call, text, or email me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication Disorder and masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I also currently hold a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate certification.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not accept insurance at this time. All services are private-pay. Individual sessions are $50.00 per session and sliding-scale fees are available.
How did you get started in this business?
Five years ago I was struggling with trauma and anxiety. If my shower curtain wasn't "just so" and an inch out of place it would send me to tears. My anxieties felt like they were in control and I found myself leaving the home less and less; and questioning whether tomorrow was worth living. A compassionate counselor helped me work through my trauma and build the skills to build a life worth living, and that is what I will help you do too.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am passionate about working with people through anxieties, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, suicide ideations, coping, and stress.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A client whom I am currently working with told me that they felt that I truely understand what they are going through. This touched me deeply, as I want every person I work with to feel truely understood.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to more than one therapist/counselor before choosing who to work with. You need to make sure that the person you choose is the right fit for you. We all have a different style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It is important to think about what goals you are trying to accomplish with a counselor, so you can ask him/her how they will help you reach those goals.
