I have experienced first-hand the benefits of marriage counseling, both as a client and as a therapist. Having "sat in both seats" so to speak, I understand how painful marital conflict and disconnection and can be, and bring a unique ability to empathize, and help each member of the couple express and comprehend, in new and powerful ways, their experience to and with each other. These exercises help restore a sense of emotional trust and safety in the relationship, which helps facilitate a much deeper sense of connection, which is the foundation of all communication.

I find it incredibly rewarding to help bring hope to couples who may have been stuck for a long time in hopelessness and discouragement, thinking that they are too broken to fix. It's amazing to watch how gaining a vision of what can be possible on the other side of challenges and difficulties can revitalize weary hearts and renew commitment and affection.
