I offer a supportive, compassionate style, and a strong, steady, presence for our work together; I also skillfully and precisely challenge the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Our stubborn patterns may have served and protected us well in our past.
However, these patterns are now often merely outdated, out of context and/or out of proportion to the current situation: anxiety, dissociation, denial, aggression, defensiveness, passive-aggression. I have worked with individuals, couples and families for nearly 20 years, drawing on my training in Gestalt, attachment, body-centered approaches & neuroscience.
I am rooted in my own meditation practice, providing a reliable ground for the therapeutic process. I am also an experienced meditation instructor, a husband and father, and facilitate men's retreats and parenting classes. Our work together will help you uncover your own innate capacity for healing and transformation.
