Dan Entmacher Psychotherapy
About
I offer a mindfulness based experiential approach to psychotherapy. This is a powerful and effective method that focuses on transformation in the present moment. Within the first few sessions you will likely experience a tangible shift from pain, confusion, or anxiety toward a sense of peace, calm, and clarity. You may just transform and heal beyond what you thought possible.
I consider it a great honor to walk with people on their journeys of transformation. I am commited to walking my talk and to doing everything in my power to be as present, open, and loving as possible for my clients. I very much enjoy how much being a therapist keeps me learning and growing as an individual.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by scheduling a risk-free 55-minute consultation in the office. This gives you that chance to see if I will be a good fit for you as a counselor and I get a sense of your challenges, history, and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in counseling psychology from Naropa University where I focused on mindfulness-based transpersonal psychology. I have a post graduate certificate in sensorimotor psychotherapy, a powerful modality for healing trauma and PTSD.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My hourly rate is $125.
How did you get started in this business?
When my mother became very ill and I chose to come home to take care of her, I first faced truly difficult trials and inner demons. In the midst of my struggle, surrounded often by depression and severe self-criticism there came a point of surrender, where I realized that I could not overcome my demons alone, so I sought help through spiritual traditions and counseling.
I eventually found my way back into the daylight and discovered that my true gifts lay in working with others, in helping them both to discover their true divine indestructible essence and to act as a guide to help them through whatever time of pain and confusion they may find themselves in.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with teens, individuals, and couples on a wide array of difficulties ranging from PTSD, to pornography addiction, to depression and anxiety, to coping with a significant loss. Whatever you may be struggling with I can help guide you to the other side.
