Boulder Acupuncture And Herbs
About
I am a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist specializing in eldercare and women's health. My experience working with patients with disabilities, chronic illness, and reproductive difficulties make me a good fit for patients 70 and older and women going through menopause.
My work enables me to help people feel better every day. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, I am able to tackle difficult health conditions with a unique set of tools. The best feeling I have as a practitioner of Chinese medicine is seeing my patients recover from illnesses and injuries they have been struggling with for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new acupuncture patients, we schedule a 90-minute session that includes a thorough health history intake as well as an acupuncture treatment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Oriental Medicine, am licensed by the state of Colorado, and have completed over 3,000 hours of education and training in acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. My prices are slightly more affordable than some practitioners in this area because many of my patients are over 70 years old. My goal is to keep my rates as reasonable as possible so that clients can afford to make acupuncture a regular part of their healthcare plan.
Initial sessions cost $90 and follow-up treatments are $60.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been a lifelong asthma and allergy sufferer. In my late teens I successfully used Chinese medicine to transition off of a strong asthma medication. After seeing what a difference this medicine made in my life, I decided to become an acupuncturist and herbalist so that I could share Chinese medicine with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in working with elders (patients 70+) and women of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My work offers me the satisfaction of watching people feel better every day.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are many competant, caring acupuncturists in our community. Spend time on their websites, or give them a call. Most acupuncturists are quite open to answering questions by phone or email to make sure they are a good fit for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should consider whether this is the right time in their lives to start acupuncture treatment. Because this medicine works over time in a cumulative way, I always encourage clients to be prepared to give the process time. Even highly skilled acupuncturists require more than one session to see results.
