At Vital Tribe, we believe in and work from a relational perspective which holds the tenet that healthy, vital relationships are essential to our well being. Our relationships are the anchor points which create the foundation for our own Vital Tribe. While we use a variety of methods such as Family Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, we believe most in a holistic experiential approach to treatment that focuses on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. We believe in incorporating a change process that isn’t about just sitting and talking, but getting up and doing.
Our goal is to help the individuals and families that we work with understand their brains, their bodies, and how to find ways to make things work better for themselves and their relationships with each other. We strive to reinvent the wheel every time we work with an individual and/or family because what works for every client is different. At Vital Tribe, we will create an individualized plan of action that uniquely addresses your struggles and strengths.
Joe believes we are all unique, complex and beautiful people and aims to help clients understand how their strengths and how to vitalize life experience using these unique strengths and gifts they have in order to deepen connection with self and others. Joe helps clients move through a change process that is not just about sitting and talking but about moving and doing. He utilizes a variety of purposeful and experientially based approaches to move clients into life-altering, life-expanding, vital tribe forming change.

We begin our work together with a complimentary 50-minute introductory meet and greet session either in your home or in your community (local coffee shop/cafe). This session allows us to get to know each other and clearly identify and collaborate on goals and objectives moving forward and to make certain that Vital Tribe Counseling is a good fit for you and/or your family.
