My name is Gloria Lorenz, and I am the founder of Maverick Tax & Bookkeeping Services LLC. As an Enrolled Agent with more than 30 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and tax resolution, I am committed to providing individuals and business owners with knowledgeable, personalized financial guidance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I will jump on a call with a client to get an idea on what is involved with their taxes or IRS issues. We then can either meet in person to go over the information needed and complete a tax organizer(interview organizer)or we can do it all online thorugh my secure portal, where clients can upload all of their tax documents. We are very flexible to meet the needs of the clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years experience with accounting and tax preparation and specialize with working with individuals and small businesses. Specific industries that I have extensive experience in are trucking, construction, logging, retail stores, photographers, restaurants, online businesses and small start-up businesses.
I have a Master's degree in Accounting and am an Enrolled Agent licensed by the IRS.
How did you get started in this business?
I have worked in Public Accounting for over 27 years and always wanted to start my own small Tax and Accounting business. I love helping people with their taxes, tax issues and educating them on their taxes.
