What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by reviewing a clients previous tax returns and then conduct a brief interview or questionnaire to obtain the information necessary to complete the tax return as thoroughly and completely as possible. By the end we really get to know one another!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Enrolled Agent - Federally licensed with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Enrolled Agents are focused on taxation and tax procedures and we can represent taxpayers in all 50 states. We are federally licensed to both prepare taxes and represent our clients before the government agencies. As attorneys are to law, and CPAs are to accounting, Enrolled Agents are to taxes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I generally charge based on the complexity and amount of work involved (Schedules, Forms, Credits, etc.) I find that this price model provides the best mix of value and expertise as I'm usually in touch with my clients as they make financial decisions throughout the year.
