We specialize in giftedness, high sensitivity, intensity, and developmental concerns such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, and we offer a wide range of therapy and assessment services in order to support the individual needs of our clients.
We work with people who are dealing with a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep problems, transitional concerns, emotional reactivity, behavioral concerns, need for self-understanding, addiction, parenting stress, anger issues, overwhelm, work stress, relationship challenges, and more.
We offer an atmosphere of safety, compassion and support. Our offices, located in Lafayette, CA and San Rafael, CA, are comfortable, inviting and home-like.
We also offer counseling or consultation by video-conferencing or phone to clients who reside in California.
We provide counseling and assessment to adults, children, teens, parents, couples, families and groups. We are a group of seasoned Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Psychologists (Ph.D. and Psy.D.). At times we might also have Registered Associates (Associate LPCC, Associate LMFT, Associate CSW).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step to working together is to schedule your free 15-20 minute consultation. That way, you have better information to decide if we are the right fit for you. After that, we set up an office appointment at our downtown Lafayette office or downtown San Rafael office (free parking at both locations!) Or we schedule a video conferencing appointment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At TheraThrive, our work is person-centered, strength-based, interactive and integrative.
Each therapist at TheraThrive has unique skills and experience to offer. All of us are licensed to practice in the state of California, and hold at least a Master's Degree (MA or MS), and some of us also have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD).

We offer counseling, psychotherapy, consultation, evaluations and assessment testing.
We serve children, teens/young-adults, adults, couples, parents, families and groups, and we specialize in giftedness, high sensitivity, anxiety and developmental concerns, such as Autism, Asperger's, Sensory Processing Disorder, and ADHD.
We also treat a full range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, communication challenges and PTSD. We also offer consultation, assessment, evaluation, parent support, academic consultation, clinical supervison and workplace/managerial consultation.

Our fee is $185 per session for most of our services.
We are out-of-network with all insurance carriers. This means that if you have a PPO insurance plan, we will provide the necessary information to you to submit to your insurance to possibly receive a percentage reimbursement.
