What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to go over their last 2 years of tax returns to see what was going on, as well as see if there are any additional tax strategies that can be implemented to Amend their tax returns to get them additional monies back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a federally licensed, IRS Enrolled Agent to represent Businesses & Individuals in Tax preparation & Audit representation, with extensive experience handling California Real Estate Brokers, California Insurance Property & Casualty, Life & Health agents, & Federal Mortgage Originators, Homeowners and those seeking financial & tax guidance in divorce proceedings. I keep abreast of the turbulent economic environment we are currently faced with through annual continuing education. I utilize the most relevant financial strategies to take advantage of these markets. With over 25 years experience, I have a vast financial & tax knowledge base. I welcome the opportunity to to assist you, your business & your family with your financial affairs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure your able to see that they have completed a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education to be able to navigate all the recent tax law changes that seem to change daily throughout this Pandemic. ALso make sure that they are licensed to represent you in front of any Federal or Statutory taxing authorities if you are under audit/examination.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You have to decide if hiring a professional who has a lifetime of skills and experience in handling these taxing matters is more qualified then you who handles your own tax affairs once a year for a brief time frame, then is it worth having your own professional advocate help you instead of dealing with these Federal & State examiners alone,that arent your friend and are there to get as much money as possible out of you.
