What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduce myself and the services I offer. Expain what the process will be to prepare their taxes. If the information provided to me is correct, the tax return will be correct.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge by the form. All IRS and State forms have a price attached to them. As the taxes are being prepared the computer totals the prices.
How did you get started in this business?
I like helping people and I'm good with numbers. In addition, I don't have to work 12 months out of the year.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily Individuals and small businesses. LLCs and non profits.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love giving back to community, so every Thanksgiving and Christmas the office personnel adopt a family and/or give to shelters.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check their background. Check with CTEC and IRS to see if and how many complaints have been lodged. Make sure their license(s) are up to date.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I really need a professional or can I have my taxes done another way?
Do I get good vibes from this particular preparer or so I feel apprehensive? Trust your gut.
How much experience does this preparer have in the area that I need help in?
