Don is an Enrolled Agent, authorized to practice before the IRS.
We are celebrating 36 years of business assisting people with their Income Tax needs. We stay abreast of all the current and changing tax laws.
We also offer In-Home service for the convenience of our clients. We have a thorough interview process that allows us to get to know our clients and their financial goals. The thorough interview also allows us to uncover deductions that are often missed with DIY software or less thorough interviews.
We work tirelessly to help our clients reach their goals with effective tax planning We utilize every legal method possible to save our clients money by reducing their tax liability. We also advise of grey areas and red flags and work to avoid these, while still taking every possible advantage under the current tax laws.
We use software from one of the largest professional services available. Electronic Filing is the standard for 99% of all returns that we prepare. Last and most importantly, we stand behind our work & we insist on the highest ethical standards when we consult, advise, and prepare the client’s return.

How did you get started in this business?
I've been preparing taxes since 1983. I started with a nationwide firm and learned how to do a very thorough interview utilizing tools that still work today. I started my own practice 10 years later in Ventura County with a focus on serving the community with personal income taxes and small businesses
I have continued serving clients thought the southern California area as well as many in other states.
Many of my clients have been with me for over 30 years. I consider most of my clients as friends & we stay in contact throughout the year
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients are individually that want to have their taxes completed accurately. They want to ensure that we have been thorough, honest, aggressive with uncovering any potential deduction or credit that they are entitled to.
Many have small businesses, rental properties and investors. We have helped many transition to their retirements.
Most are considered friends. We talk throughout the year as their financial situations may change so that we avoid surprises when filling their taxes
Help individuals and business with tax issues such as unfiled past taxes, leins, levies, garnishment and penalties. Provide free initial consulatation and analysis to explain what programs you may qualify for and answer questions. We offer Tax Transcript review and compliance check
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One recent event that I am happy to share is that one client received a threatening letter from IRS staying that they owed a huge sum of money. After writing with the IRS on their behalf, they saved over $60,000
