I was born and raised in the great state of California. At the age of 18, I moved to Austin, Texas to receive a bachelor degree in art history and studio art at the University of Texas. After graduating UT I moved to Brooklyn NY, inspired by the culture and art of New York City. It was not long before I felt exhausted and rundown by busy city life. I found sanctuary in my yoga practice. I devoted my free time to educating myself about holistic life styles and healthy living. With the help of my favorite yoga studios, Kundalini East, Golden Bridge, and Kundalini of Park Slope, I received certification as a yoga teacher.
Missing the beauty of California, I returned home in 2011, I continue my passion of helping others as a massage and skin therapist.
I received my license through attending Sebastopol's School of Massage, Celebrating Spirit and Santa Rosa Junior College. I practiced hundreds of hours in convalescent homes while working as a nurse assistant. I immediately saw beneficial results physically and emotionally in my residents.
Skin care came into the picture when I began sharing my DIY self care products. I became very interested in the chemistry behind skin care. I wanted to use products free of parabens and harsh chemicals. I received my esthetician license through Lytle's Beauty College in 2016.
Life is all about learning and experiences, some of my favorite subjects are medicinal herbs, gardening, DIY projects, well just about anything that involves working with my hands and requires some creativity. I enjoy surrounding myself in nature and staying grounded to the earth, like hiking, camping, yoga, biking and those amazing calm days at the ocean listening to the waves.
