I love working with indivduals helping them find their path to a happier and more fulfilled life. My process is to listen actively to them and through a process of exploration and discovery we find the answers that are deep within. I have worked for many years with individuals who are required by the courts to take anger managment, domestic violence prevention or parenting training. They are often in a heigthened state of anger and resistance as they did not volunteer to join my groups. So we take it slowly and start to uncover the issues that are the underlying causes that are triggering their anger and learn new skills to prevent them from reactioning to them but rather be able to take the time to think and chose an appropriate action.
I value the expereince I have had working in the OC probation approve programs. It has given me the opportunity to work with many different individuals who are often in the lowest moments of their life and through our work learn how to make changes to trun their lives around. Many of these clients expressed they wished they had learned these skills earleir. This was the motivation for me to open a private practice so I could help individuals learn these skills before a crisis happens.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I help clients through a process of identifng what their triggers, learn are how their body reacts when triggered and discover the skills they need to contain and maintain their emotions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am International Coaching Federation Life coach who has worked with couples and famiies for over 10 years. In 2005 I was certified as a Batterers IIntervention Facilitator approved by Orange County Probation and O.C. Courts to work both male and female perpetrators of Domestic Violence. I facilitate Anger Managmen as well as Parenting, and Batterer Intervention Groups.

i charge a flat rate of $125 per hour.
How did you get started in this business?
I was an educator in the field of elementary and early childhood eduation. I applied for a job teaching parenting skills for a psychological service agency. The clients were appointed through the OC Courts, Probations of CPS. Because i was dealing with issues of domesti violence I ws required to become certified as a Batterers Intervention Program Facilitator (aka BIP). It was thorugh this work and the stories my clients shared with me that was the motivation to start my practice helping indviduals, couples and families.
