I approach new clients with a sense of openness, warmth, and curiosity. I usually start with a 5-10 min phone call to get a better understanding of the client's needs and expectations. If the client is ready to, we schedule an initial session to more deeply explore concerns of the client and also to explain the therapeutic process.
I have a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, which is a large umbrella degree for various types of therapy. I've been trained in Mindfulness approaches, Harm Reduction, Anxiety Relief, Motivational Interviewing, and a variety of other areas.
