About
It's all in the "How did you get started" section below. I'm a bit unconfortable answering this directly, so I'll direct you to the sections below. It feels silly to put in a tag line like "It's more than your pain" or something like that. There's nothing wrong with tag lines like that for others, but it just doesn't feel right to me. Don't get me wrong, I say cheesy things all the time. In fact, when working with clients we usually have a laugh or two, because saying silly stuff and laughing does help get into the flow.
There it is, that's one way my service stands out!
More of the same as above. I get to know you as a person and get to laugh and of course get your system working optimally and tracking the progress of it all!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is a "Get To Know You" session. This is where we get to know each other more than what the pain is. Some people actually come in to develop a greater sense of themselves in the world when going through some transition or have deeper access to different states of consciousness. It's a time to let me know what is going on in your life and where you want to take your healing. And of course, we look at the spine, how it moves, how it's structured, how it "breathes", and how much of it you can sense. Then you get your first treatment or session. Typically we meet again a few days later to see how much of the changes you made stayed with you and we look at what care would look like from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Background in Biology from UCSD, with classes and lab jobs, gave me the basis for understanding for neuroanatomy, organic chemistry, and molecular biology. This all helped to get a better grasp on the nervous system, nutrition, epigenetics whcih deepened when I went to chiropractic college. And yes, I did graduate from UCSD and Life Chiropractic College West ( I grew up in an Asian houselhold). I studied under Dr. Donald Epstein primarily since graduating LCCW which broadened my scope to perceive and experience at the non-ordinary phenomenon as we heal as individuals and as a community. That means my mind was blown and it still is when true healing and reorganizaiton occurs! This allow me to look at emotional/mental patterns that occur in the spine and adds another depth to the sessions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a standard pricing system as I work in different places.
The office I work at Carlsbad Integrative Medical Center is different from my fees when I do home visits or work place visits when I am not in Carlsbad.
It may be easier to just call or text to find out for now.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in the business because I was inspired by a doctor in Del Mar, California. I met him in my mid-twenties. He was patient with me and answered all my questions about chiropractic and shared his views on healing. He encouraged me to enroll and get my license, so I did!
Since then I have been inspired by many practitioners of all disciplines. And as I look back, I am grateful for the care my childhood chiropractor gave to me and my family. He was a functional medical doctor before there was such a thing! He adjusted my diet, gave me supplements, exercises for my mom to facilitate. My asthma and eczma totaly cleared up! When I think of working with people, I really like to take a view of the spine and nervous system, nutrition and functional movement as well as a deeper connection to our consciousness for healing.
