How did you get started in this business?
I got a 16 year-old girl pregnant — I was only 17 so it was legal, though I don’t recommend it. This put me on a path of intensely motivated curiosity about relationships, communication, dating and sex for the last 16 years. I wanted to teach my son to be good in these things… but to do that I had to get good at them first.
My son’s mother eventually died of and overdose and I realized I was addicted to a doctor’s prescription of Percocet. I was anxious, angry and being crushed 400 lbs. of depression and bad-habits. I beat the opioid addiction, lost half my body weight and found a way to have peace within— because you can’t have it without. Then people started asking me for help in doing the same.
In the years since I’ve been the help for other humans because I truly believe that you have to share it to keep it. When one teach two learn.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Success is simple-- but nothing can make it easy. Paths aren't made with maps, a path is made by walking it.
Make sure you hire a guide you can communiate with, because no matter how great they are if you don't "speak the same language" it'll be impossible for them to help you.
