Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A key component of my practice is the health history of my patients. It is very important, so depending on what type of session you are ordering if it's a relaxation session then it's quick, if you plan to order a clinical session plan for a 10-20 min discussion and assessment so that before starting the session we have an end goal and strategy. Information such as what kind of sports activities have you ever participated in, What injuries have you experienced, and more. All aspects are important to the current pain situation in question.
The discussion time is built into the session, New client sessions are typically 90-110 min depending on the pain and depth of the health history form.

How did you get started in this business?
For 8 years I was a fiber splicing lineman (woman) injured at a project I was assigned to. During my recovery journey, my physician recommended so many other modalities like physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic and they were just ok. She then asked what I thought about clinical massage. I agreed to give it a go, I had gotten boutique massages before and was comfortable including clinical massage to my health regimen. It made the biggest and most long-lasting difference versus those other modalities on their own.
After asking the massage therapist where she went to school it was like destiny, I had recently been in contact with the same school and saw it as a positive sign to get into the field.
