About

I am a strong advocate for social change and assist families to shift their relationship culture. My counseling style has been lovingly referred to as “ The Velvet Hammer” hitting hard with wisdom and truth yet landing softly with respect and joy. I bring a wealth of wisdom and knowledge from a lifetime of psychological studies, professional training, and personal triumphs over a multitude of traumatic experiences of my own.

Trained by internationally acclaimed Master coaches for 7 years I became part of pioneering the thriving coaching industry as it is known today. After 15 years providing professional family coaching, I responded to requests to provide professional counseling services by expanding my skills to become a Licenced Marriage and Family Therapist. I continue to grow my passion as a Ph.D. Candidate in Clinical Psychology from Meridian University concentrated on Transformative Leadership and Social Artistry.

Awarded 3 professional certifications as a Performance, Relationship, and Family Coach

Awarded 2 professional certifications as a Transformative Facilitator

Pioneer of a Family support group with international reach, recognition, and support

Fundraised thousands through international events to support the edification of families

I am passionate about my work and very clear that this is my life's purpose. I understand first hand the many struggles felt when things in your home and close relationships seem like they're falling apart. Sometimes it might be ok but other times the stress and tensions rise like waves making things so difficult. The stress can get to you causing further arguments, added work stress, anxiety, depression or health problems.

I thoroughly enjoy assisting in finding ways to experience peace so that you can be at your best in relationships. It is possible. Furthermore, finding ways to lead your family and close relationships toward joyful connection is achievable.

Through individual, couples or family counseling, I am family systems-minded. Meaning, human beings do not live in a void, we live in relationship. I work to find how you have been affected by past and current relationships and uncover what has been holding you back from having the kind of relationships and life you love.

How we relate to ourselves and one another makes all the difference and the struggle to find our way can feel arduous, frustrating and confusing. If you're tired of the struggle, I encourage you to reach out and find out how to gain joy, ease, and synergy in all your relationships.

I became interested ever since my very first psychology class in college. It became the catalyst for my passion.

When I began to struggle in my marriage and raising 4 children, I sought assistance. It inspired me and re-ignited my own desire to pursue this passion.

At that point I started as a professional Coach and fell in love with the work. I've continued to study and develop my skills over the years. I've never turned back.

I was hired to co-facilitate a group of 20 individuals to change their lives from mediocrity to radical leadership. They were successful in pursuing new business ideas, advancing their careers, healing past wounds, and revitalizing their family relationships in powerful ways.

They also came together as a large community to give back. They raised thousands of dollars to help Sonoma County clean up local rivers and they enrolled hundreds of people from the community to an all day event to clean the river.

They picked up nearly 2 tons of garbage making the rivers beautiful again.

The most important aspect of successful treatment is your therapist's ability to understand you and build a strong professional relationship with you.

It is not as important that they have gone through exactly what you have, what's important is their ability to empathize with how you feel.

Ask about their passion for this work.

Ask about their therapeutic approach to help you reach your goals.

Ask how they chose to measure how well the progress is going.

Ask how does the therapist determine when you are near goal achievement.
