No such thing as standard pricing with taxes. Prices are fair and reasonable to others in the area. But, each client and situation is unique and different in its own way. Fees are based on forms and difficultness of filing.
How did you get started in this business?
Was with same "Tax Man" for about 28 years, until he fell ill. I was left with him passing company down and filed with them 1 year, boy was that a mistake. Met my husband now and he had family in the business. I joined them as a recruit and apprenticed for a year. Then put myself back into school and got my certification and licenses the following year. Now have had my own business approximately 6 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From single, family and business customers. Low-income, middle class and high income to small business and corporations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having a client making more than they thought and thinking they were going to owe the IRS but they received a refund of approximatel $2000. That's what this is about. Helping those that need it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look around for someone you are comfortable with and will take the time to answer any and all of your questions! And reasonable in there fees for the work being done.
