Frequently asked questions

We are fully mobile and make every effort to accommodate YOUR needs. The process in obtaining information, documents, worksheets, etc. are done via telephonic, electronic (email, text, fax, etc.) and/or in-person (e.g. Starbucks, your residence, and/or any other mutually agreeable location). We are also available "after hours" and weekends. Just let us know when and where you'd like to meet and we'll make it happen.

ALL of our legal document assistance services are "flat fee" based and court fee waivers are ALWAYS prepared at no additional cost. If you need attorney representation, use our relationships with local attorneys for a "limited scope representation" to handle your specific issue. Attorney "limited scope representation" services are ALWAYS "flat fee" based as well.

In 1999, I enlisted in the US Army as a military paralegal and I've been doing legal work in one capacity or another for attorneys, law firms, "self-help" organizations through the court, and self-represented litigants as a paralegal, legal assistant, and/or mediator ever since.

From soldiers, attorneys, law firms, "self-help" and self-represented litigants, I have helped just about anyone who needs some assistance with their legal issue(s). If I can't, I do everything possible to get you the help you need.

ALWAYS make sure that your legal document assistant is registered and bonded. This registration and bonding REQUIREMENT was created by the State of California to protect you.

Is your "legal document assistant" provider registered and bonded? Has the registration, bonding and/or background check been verified (aka "Credentials" - "Professional License" on Thumbtack)? If it doesn't indicate as such on Thumbtack... BE CAREFUL! Are they available beyond the "normal business hours"? Is there a "Fee Agreement"? Does it fully disclose all terms & conditions? Do they have relationships with local attorneys if the case requires attorney representation? How are services charged (fees, costs, hourly, flat fee, etc.) and are payment plans offered?
