TreeHouse Design Studio
About
I'm a passionate designer with 18 years of experience and a formal graphic design education. I work with a virtual team of talent I've curated after many sucessful projects. We are designers, web developers, content creators, SEO specialists, and ecommerce ninjas. What I offer with TreeHouse is really flexible design help that meets each of my cleints exactly where they are in that moment. We're full service like having an in-house team but with the budget of a freelancer because we don't have the cumbersome overhead of a brick and mortor firm. Our clients are entreprenears ranging from solo to medium sized companies with multiple locations and busy online stores.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin each project with a call or Zoom meeting and I ask lot of questions about what the client really needs from us. Then I talk to any additional creative team members this job will need and we create a quote. We stick to that quote throughout your project unless you request a change in scope.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Graphic Design and everyone in my team has the equivilent in their fields as well as many years of experience working in their field in large cities with competitive markets.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The hourly rate for each team member varies, we quote on the job and that always tends to be more budget friendly than tracking hourly work.
How did you get started in this business?
I started out in publishing school in Vancouver, BC. I later went to Art school to complete my BFA in design in San Francisco.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with luxury brands like Restoration Hardware, and more recently LuxVan. I've also worked with food and beverage and online sales of high end wine and liquor. I've done a lot of brand work for tech companies, visual effects companies, and non-profit organizations. And then there are many solopreneaurs who are life coaches, makers, engineers, consultants and more. I like a varied work day with lots of fresh challenges.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at portfolio, make sure they have the chops as well as the education and years behind them to pull it off.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If you are looking for a brand or a re-brand, ask about the process they have done with another client. We have lots of brand guides and case studies to share that will fill in a lot of burning questions.
