About
I work with a team and together we provide tax preparation, consultation & bookkeeping services for individuals and small businesses in a casual relaxed atmosphere for a reasonable price.
We can meet face to face at your home, my home, in a public place or not at all. Communication can be online, phone or text at a time that is convenient for you.
I like to educate people and help them understand taxes. It's always nice to save my clients money.
I like helping people for a fair price and am willing to work with people regardless of their situation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I find out what they need and their situation. Then I will provide a quote. I tend to quote high & come down if it turns out not to be as complicated as originally thought.
When working online we agree to using email or a dropbox. I will email any questions I have.
I have several out-of-state clients and have not had any problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Combined we have 30+ years working for the industry leader doing taxes. The IRS and the state require hours of new classes to register every year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is based on services rendered and since no 2 returns require the exact amount of service our pricing tends to vary.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our team has experience with a vast number of situations, ranging from the student with an after school job to Partnerships, LLCs, S corps, C corps, sole proprieter, day traders, retirees and everything in between.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If your tax pro does not put their name on your tax return as a paid preparer or does not have a PTIN- go somewhere else, as these are required by the IRS.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is the pro registered with the IRS? CTEC? If not displayed ask to see their credentials.
Can you talk to the pro & understand what they tell you? Will the pro explain in a way that you understand. Jargon is nice but it may be jibberish to you.
Within the law, is the pro doing what's best for you or what makes the most money for them? If you don't know why a form is used, ask. If they can't or won't explain- you don't need them.
Remember, it's your tax return and you are ultimately responsible for it, so you need to understand it.
