About
Traditionally when building a website, clients have 2 options: 1) Hire a large creative firm that does great work but charges upwards of $300+ per hour, or 2) Hire a freelancer that is budget friendly but has a limited skillset.
5 Nerds was build to fill that void. For medium sized businesses looking for a full team of designers, developers and content creators at a more affodable rate. We've been recognized numerous times by various technology publications and we maintain a loyal and strong client base. Our clients stick with us because we do great work and we're proud of that. We hope to add you to that list.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You already know to look for a company that has the right skill set. That's a given. We encourage you to also make sure you're signing up with a company you enjoy working with. Your web development partner needs to be a good fit. Web development can hit bumps, it can get challening and it can require good brainstorming to address issues. It's important you feel that the team you're working with understands your needs, your company culture, and how you work. Just knowing how to program a website is not enough to ensure a smooth and painless process for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about your ultimate objectives of your website. This will be helpful no matter who you choose to move forward with. We always ask our clients "what measures success" for their website. You'd be surprised - it's not always the same answer. But it's an important answer for us to understand from the beginning of the process so it can inform all of our efforts.
