I received my Bachelor's degree from Cal State Los Angeles. I've continued taking Accounting certification courses throughout my career.

How did you get started in this business?
I was raised by an Accountant who began training me to do 1040EZ forms at the tender age of 12 years old. It became a part of me. I found it effortless, kind of like cooking dinner. I also grew to enjoy Accounting (not too many can say that lol).
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a variety of peoples from 18 year old college students to 92 year old Seniors.
Businesses we perform accounting services for include Rental Property, Technology and Restaurants.
Gig workers and independent contractors find us to be a breath of fresh air. We often hear "Thank you - I can finally relax".
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask Questions. Do your research when price comparing. Be sure they check-in often with the IRS. They should know the most up-to-date tax information. They should be easy to reach via email, phone, text... quick responses are important when dealing with taxpayer's information.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Taxes take care of themselves. We're required by law to provide certain information. That's a no-brainer. Gathering this information is usually the most difficult part on my clients side. Individuals need only think about staying organized. While businesses need to focus on industry specific tax credits and whether they're doing what needs to be done to qualify for those breaks. Any quality Tax Preparer will help them figure out what needs to be addressed. Choices are often limited within the confines of law.
