Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by making sure that a client prospect is the right fit for Barretto-Co. to partner with by conducting a discovery phase whereby we learn about strategic goals and customer needs. We then provide an estimate of realistic effort and associated hours to have a budget conversation and revise as necessay until it works for both parties. When expectations are established we turn this into a formal scope of work, detailing process, roles, deliverables, and timelines.

How did you get started in this business?
I studied design while in college and had the opportunity to work as a subcontractor at Apple until I was hired on as a full time employee.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be realistic about your budget and expectations.
There's a saying which applies, good, cheap, fast—pick two.
If you want good, it won't be cheap or fast.
If you want it cheap, it won't be fast or good.
If you want it fast, it won't be good or cheap.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I share this with clients during our discovery phase as it is part of the value we deliver in developing a partnership.
