Mariah Dancing, LMFT, ATR
About
I have a BA in Studio Art, an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and an MA in Art Therapy. I am a licensed psychotherapist and I am also an art therapist registered with the Art Therapy Credentials Board. I embrace person-centered, narrative, attachment and solution-focused theoretical orientations. I also enjoy the dreamwork and symbolism aspects of psychodynamic theory. My style is warm, accepting, encouraging and strength-based. I have worked for organizations and agencies serving the neurodiverse community as well as veterans. Before becoming a therapist, I worked with children for 20+ years. I seek to collaborate with clients, identifying tools, strengths and, most importantly, passions. Recognizing, honoring and nourishing our unique motivation is a powerful process that can transform our relationships, careers and lives!
