About
I am a trained mental health counselor with my PhD in Counselor Education and Clinical Supervision. I have over seven years of experience working with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, change of life issues, and martial/relationship challenges. My experience extends beyond seeing clients. I am also a college professor; teaching graduate counseling courses to students earning their masters in counseling.
I have found that clients most value experience, knowledge, and a counselor who genuinely cares. As such, I treat every client with respect and sincere empathy. I believe that the answers that we seek live within our selves and that we inherently know what is best. Consequently, my role as a counselor is to use a strength based approach to guide my clients to find their own answers from within.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to get basic information related to the clients needs both logistically and what they would like to explore while working togerher. From there, we can indentify the plan of action.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Master's of Science degree in Counseling and my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Clinical Supervision
