My agency specializes in serious mental health issues, including Domestic Violence; anger management issues; marriage counseling; parenting (from seeking to raise a child for greatness to referrals from DCFS) and co-parenting (for contentious divorcing couples); trauma; relationship skills; sex addiction, sex offending and sex crime victims; mental illness, such as schizophrenia; attachement disorders; anxiety and depression. I specialize in high quality, low priced child custody evaluations and criminal risk assessment. I am the author of seven books that tackle issues of origin, that is, cause and effect or how people become as we are, as well as how to change. No one at our agency is turned away for inability to pay.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer clients take our parenting class first, so they can consult with us during therapy. That way, they know the key issues from their childhood, which are not simply abuse or neglect. They also then know how healing works and how to make the most of therapy. We end the course teaching relationship skills, because it doesn't matter how healed you are. If you don't have good problem-solving an relationship skills, you wil reinjure yourself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and a masters degree in family therapy. My bachelors was in political science. I consider myself a theoretician. What we believe about things informs how we treat them, including people. I have the required course work for child custody evaluations, mediation, assessing sex offending and risk, and I have written seven books on the origins of human behavior in the home.
