I am a Certified Financial Planner since 2001 and in the business for 27 years. I am a low key, no pressure advisor that seeks to the right thing for the client first and foremost. The CFP desgination is VERY highly driven around ethics and morales which is very much in line with my business style. I am big on education where I have found many fail.
Finance is a very unique and creative fact of life and no one clients situation is every the same. Being a part of fomeone’s future has always been rewarding when a client has the confidence, day in and day out, that they are doing the best they can when it pertains to their financial goals. Very simply put...my mother was a teacher and educating people has always been a motivation for me. Finances are extremely overlooked when it comes to knowledge and I feel it encumbent upon me to educate those that wish to learn or for those too busy and wishing the expertise of a seasoned financial advisor, one of which has never had a client complaint, verbal or written in 27 years. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like a non-obligatory initial call or meeting. I leave this to the client to choose which. During that meeting, I like to find out what the client is trying to do whether it be in detail or broad strokes. This allows me to give the client an idea how I can help and what they can expect from a cost perspective. It also provides the client to understand my style in approaching their situation and any other supporting ideas that I can divulge to them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is what is called Fee-Only. We don't charge commissions and because we are a Fiduciary, we must put the clients interests ahead of our own at ALL times! This way you get impartial advice on every topic we discuss.
