The Center For Empowerment
About
I serve folks from all walks of life, and both young or old. Most clients are seeking coping tools for their immediate life challenges, longstanding disappointments/stressors or they may just need help finding more balance in living day to day. With a PhD in Psychology and certifications in nutrition, wellness, life coaching and substance abuse, I'm able to better understand and assist people in finding hope, making changes and getting through the recovery process. In addition, I have authored numerous articles and several mindfulness books (e.g. "Presence of Mind - MIndful Affirmations", "Calm", "Happy", "Sleep", and "Confident"). By the end of 2018 two co-authored books "How to be Content" and "How to Make Space" will be available in book stores and online. Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a brief interview to discuss the person's clinical need for treatment and discuss availability/insurance/cost via phone or email. Once a mutual time is agreed upon, I send the individual my online intake form, disclosure form and directions on how to access me online or in person. Forms are completed are sent back to me via secure email or brought to the face-face visit.
