Our firm is a high end boutique that offers the very best for a higher price. We do not complete standard returns. TG Accounting specializes in the tax and accounting needs of small to medium-sized business owners and individuals with complicated returns. We offer three different tax service plans to allow each individual and business to choose the services they seek at a price point that works for them.
TG Accounting's owner Kimberly Colton has spent extensive time learning the tax law as she is passionate about ensuring her clients never pay the government a single cent more than required by law. She is known as a tax research expert. Kimberly first graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah in December 1996 with a B.S. in accounting, awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award. She continued on for her MPrA in tax in 1998, once again receiving the Outstanding Scholar Award.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Kim interviews each client individually to find out their needs and desires and helps tailor the best service plan that will help cover their needed services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kimberly Colton graduated with a MPrA in Tax, receiving the Outstanding Scholar Award in June1998 from the University of Utah. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah in December 1996 with a B.S.in accounting, also awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award. After working in the “Big 4” accounting environment in various capacities, she went into practice for herself.
Kimberly Colton holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from both the State of Nevada and the State of Utah. She is a member of the Utah and Nevada Societies of Certified Public Accountants as well as the National Society of Tax Professionals.
