For nearly a decade, Lucy Ulikhanova has been an active participant and practitioner in alternative healing with a focus in Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) since 2016.
After graduating with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in 2017 where she earned the highly coveted Clinical Achievement Award, Lucy officially joined the American Hypnosis Association (AHA) and Hypnotherapist’s Union Local 427.
Since joining the AHA and Union, Lucy has made it her mission to help her clients overcome their self-limiting beliefs by directly addressing the subconscious roadblocks that inhibit performance. Lucy also helps clients try to overcome stress, anxieties, fears and chronic physical pain associated with age, illness, injury, and disease, just to name a few.
Through proper care and guidance, Lucy leads her clients to levels of goal achievement they previously thought impossible, while simultaneously eliminating habits that run counter productive.
In running her practice, Lucy is proud in keeping alive a part of a legacy, as a way of honoring her late father, the renowned Dr. Peter Michael Ulikhanov, a pioneer in the alternative health field, and fellow graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (1989).
Much like her late father, Lucy runs a practice that is built on unshakable values, strong ethics, and a compassionate style that helps clients move beyond the mental, and physical obstacles in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a free 20 minute consultation in order to discuss what the potential client is looking to accomplish and if my services can provide an answer for that goal. Currently I do not offer in person sessions.All is done over the phone. I will update frequently of any changes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an honors graduate from Hypnosis Motivation Institute, an accredited college where I earned my certification and the coveted Clinical Achievement award.I am also Certified with the Hypnotherapist’s Union, Local 472 and a member of the American Hypnosis Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. I charge $120 per session. The first session always runs longer but remains at $120.
For specialized programs such as Stop Smoking ( smoking cessation )I charge a set price that is determined by the interview process in the first session.
I also provide sessions that can be conducted over the phone with the appropriate equipment.
How did you get started in this business?
May late father Dr Peter Michael Ulikhanov a renowned Healer, Naturopathic Dr and Hypnotherapist was also a graduate of HMI and used hypnotherapy in his practice. I aspire to keep a small portion of his legacy alive. I always found the workings of the brain and mind to be fascinating since childhood.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with a wide range of customers. Some clients worked on habits while others on anxieties.There is a wide range of topics I work with such as ADHD or PTSD to Nail Bitting, Fears / Phobias to insecurities. Lack of confidence or Procrastination. Or even sports performance and stop smoking. All these things and much more which hypnotherapy has found to be successful in helping the client achieve their goals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
To make sure to ask the Hypnotherapist their length of training. Where the therapist received the training and if they are certified and if a Union lists them as a member.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is their objective goal? Are they wanting some type of change because they want it, or someone is pressuring them ?
